FINGER DRILLS
A handy tool for model builders are a set of finger drills for delicate,
precise drilling of small holes. I have one for each size I most often use.
If you have a wood lathe simply drill a 11/2 to 2 inches long ¼” diameter piece
of dowel stock with the size drill you want to insert. If you don’t have a lathe
I’ll bet you know someone that does, he can simply drill them all 1/16” and
you can open them up to size later. Then just CA glue the drill in the handle.
Or if you are careful you can free hand drill them with your drill motor.
